About

I'm an award winner Interior Designer with two times O1 visa from the United States of America for "people who demonstrate extraordinary ability in their field." 

In addition to my previous Interior Design training, I recently have Feng Shui Consulting and Home Staging and Floral Designer Certificates.

I've been an interior designer and decorator for nearly three decades and have repeatedly proven on international platforms that I'm a creative force in the design world. Taking part in more than 200 projects in Turkey, Europe, and America, I have undertaken home, office, exhibition, and store projects and gained international recognition with my furniture and packaging designs.

I've established a nearly 30 years old, Istanbul-based interior design company, "Retro Design Istanbul," and when my designs rapidly announced the name in the design world, I've established a sister design company "Retro Design New York," in  2017. The New York-based Design Company "Retro Design New York" works mainly in interior design, home staging, virtual design, feng shui consulting, and floral and event design. Retro Design serves customers worldwide, offering projects, designs, and styling.

In 2017 I received the "Excellence in Design Award" from the Izmir Arts, Culture and Design Foundation and am currently pursuing new design projects. 

I own a patent for one of my packaging designs and continue work on two new ones, showing my originality in design.

I also have three registered trademarks for "Feray Alpay," - "Studionline by Feray Alpay, "- "Retro Design NYC." 

I'm a member of the American Society of Interior Architects "ASID."

My designs go digital :

I have been in the interior design business for a long time, and Covid has forced me to change and reinvent my business model. I have now moved my skills to the digital platform and enjoy doing something new and keeping up with the digital world. In addition to my routine business model, I now do virtual interior design and decoration services on online platforms suitable for everyone's budget.

As an E-Commerce Entrepreneur, I provide virtual interior design services and sell pet accessories and home decor objects online platforms on Amazon, Etsy, Instagram, and three websites that I have my own.
